We fish using both dry and wet fly methods to suit the conditions and the location. We’ll use both methods at any time of year depending on the conditions.
The warmer months are typically the best time of year for dry fly fishing as there is greater terrestrial insect activity. During the cooler months and high river flow conditions wet fly’s are very successful.
